With Live!, Roger Trigaux returned with a full band version of Present for the first time since 1983.
This version of the band, which toured all over Europe, featured two guitars, bass and drums (by Dave Kerman of 5uu's/U Totem/Blast, who remains a member to this day).
Dark, metallic, complex music with intricate dual guitar and bass interplay. While primarily instrumental, the dark imagery of the music is matched by the darkness of the vocals; Roger and company sound like men fighting for their souls - and maybe they are!
Imagine Univers Zero reborn as a metal band, and you might have an idea of the sound here. This includes new and old work and an amazing, intense version of "Promenade Au Fond D'Un Canal".

Not one of the best but definitely one that I really appreciate because it stands like the end of Present's first era and inside the four long tracks of this album you can find the most "classic" Present sound from hard and raw sections lead by Roger and Réginald Trigaux's guitars on "Laundry Blues" and "Alone" to the most intricate and complex musical sequences on "Promenade au Fond d'un Canal"...
Vocals are really scary most of the time but even floating and harmonic. Bruno Bernas bass sounds like a magnificient thunder during several minutes before turns into a melodic and slight ambient element on "Contre" and "Alone". All of this surronded by 5 UU'S Dave Kerman's complex drums filling the structures of Roger Trigaux mind blowing compositions." – progarchives
