Macrocosm 22:54

Macrocosm was Peter's seventh album and his first released outside of Europe.
While heavily electronic, on Macrocosm Peter uses many other instruments, and the end result here is much closer to recent Art Zoyd than space music.

"Originally released in 1989, "Macrocosm" reflects one of the periods when the artist had a deeper obsession about the enigmas of the universe in all their unyielding vastness. Frohmader's talent creating worlds of sound a long way out of conventional structures allows him to provide his electronic music with a eerie, unique, disquieting personality, yet at the same time possessing an exotic beauty.
Like a moor in the moonlight, from his music emanate intoxicating and dangerous outflows. The starry sky opens like a bottomless well before the listener." – Amazings

"Avant-prog of the electronic world. There's no pretense to being A Synth Album™… Instead this serves up weird semi-industrial sound collages aplenty, fit for alien horror films. Or perhaps a carnival, as is the case of "Ascension". Maybe even both? The clowns did always seem evil, after all." – rateyourmusic
